Solidarity is a Person: Jesus!
Jesus is the Lord!
Jesus'
Secret of Success
“He then
came down with them and stopped at the piece of level ground where there was a
large gathering of his disciples, with a great crowd of people from all parts of
Judea and Jerusalem and the coastal region of Tyre and Sidon who had come to
hear him and to be cured of their diseases. People tormented by unclean spirits
were also cured, and everyone in the crowd was trying to touch him because power
came out of him that cured them all.” (Luke
6:17-19)
People
were trying to touch him because power came out of him that cured them all...
“
The disciples of John gave him all this news, and John, summoning two of his
disciples, sent them to the Lord to ask, ' Are you the one who is to come, or
are we to expect someone else?' When the men reached Jesus they said: John the
Baptist has sent us to you to ask, "Are you the one who is to come or are
we to expect someone else?" 'At that very time he cured many people of
diseases and afflictions and of evil spirits, and gave the gift of sight to many
who were blind. Then he gave the messengers their answer, 'Go back and tell John
what you have seen and heard: the blind see again, the lame walk, those
suffering from virulent skin-diseases are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead
are raised to life...” (Luke. 7:18-22).
...that
Jesus' power cured above all the peoples' inner self
The evil that makes the humankind suffer is not only the evil
that strikes the external part of people; in the body, there is an evil that
hides inside, in the soul, a dark evil that lives inside the heart of
people: Sin!
Sin
is a self-destructing distortion of the orientation of the "self";
when refusing to love God and humankind and withdrawing into one’s self for a
sort of diabolic illusion to become a god, one loses himself in the labyrinth of
depression and madness.
Sin
=
- An
evil that makes us feel "old and on our last legs" within our
hearts even if we are 18 years old and are handsome/beautiful...
- An
evil that makes us feel "weak and frail" within our hearts even
if we are fiscally wealthly and strong...
- An
evil that makes us feel "sad and depressed" within our hearts even if
we have everything the world can offer...
Jesus came
into the world to free us from all evil but above all from the evil that strikes
our soul: sin. He is the strongest!
He
is the strongest!
“...which of these is easier: to say to the paralytic, "Your sins are
forgiven" or "to say, Get up, pick up your stretcher and walk"? (Mark
2:9)
This is the "bet" Jesus proposes again to every man and woman of every century. Jesus reserve for himself the power to "change", to convert the orientation egoistic of the self that causes all the sins and produces frustration.
“But
to prove to you that the Son of Man has authority to forgive sins on earth - he
said to the paralytic - I order you: get up, pick up your stretcher and go off
home.' And the man got up, and at once picked up his stretcher and walked out in
front of everyone, so that they were all astonished and praised God saying,
"We have never seen anything like this". (Mark
2:10-12).
Jesus
indeed can proclaim:
Anyone
who follow me...will never age!
Anyone
who believes in me...will never waver!
Anyone
who sees me...will never die…of boredom!
